Sexy Old Europe Party
The German Society is teaming up with the BeNeLux and FBSA Societies to give you an excellent excuse to party! We will be celebrating the "Sexy old Europe" with FREE German Pretzels, FREE French Saucissons and Cheese and Belgian Leffe and Stella Artois for £1.50! There will also be some more interesting surprises, including the opportunity to WIN a 2 night stay in a Parisian Hotel.

official Christmas Dinner
This is a lovely occasion to start the festive season with you friends and favourite society. You will also be able to get some mulled wine at the Founders Arms. There will be “Weihnachtslieder singen” (Christmas carol singing) at the end (after enough mulled wine) but this is optional.
Please be there at 8:00pm prompt so that everyone can have his share of the buffet!! Also, do not forget to bring your 6 Pounds!!!! (and some more if you want to drink!)

German "Weihnachtsmarkt" in Nottingham
German Christmas Market in Nottingham on Saturday the 08th of December.
This will be a trip to the best German Christmas market in the UK. We will meet at Waterloo station at noon on Saturday to get there for the early afternoon to drink some mulled wine and stroll around the city. Please register for this also by replying to this email until the 5th. After registration deadline you will receive an E-Mail with all the relevant information you will need for a great day out!

Goldman Sachs event
As already promised in the weekly mail we are now taking applications for the Goldman Sachs event. This is an exclusive event for members of the LSE German and Austrian Societies in the afternoon of the 21st of November. There are 25 places for our members! It will be a great chance to discuss any questions you might have about the company and your prospects there.

As the event is mainly for students that are interested in an internship with Goldman Sachs, we would kindly ask you to apply only if you are in your penultimate year and considering an internship with Goldman Sachs.
