We have organised Freshers events in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Duesseldorf, Berlin and Muenchen. We are looking forward to seeing you!

This was a joint event with King’s College and was held on King’s Strand campus.

We organised our end of term dinner at London’s only German Restaurant (offering a selection of local German beer).

We met German speakers from other Universities, events included a German Pub Quiz and speed dating!

The Return of Barbarians & Bavarians
The sequel to last year’s invasion of a nice Iberian venue - Once again we conquered Salvador & Amanda at 8 Great Newport Street. Free shots were avialable while supply lasted & £2 Beer all night.

Food Fair on Monday night
The International Food Fair organised by the SU took place on Monday. The German Society of course also contributed to the Fair with traditional German Leberkäse, Brezeln and Lebkuchen!

There was a general presentation at LSE and one-to-one sessions at the Aldywch Hotel (registration was necessary for the latter).

Our society had been invited to the Goldman Sachs Office, 133 Fleet Street for an afternoon of different activities.
1) Visit to the trading floor – your opportunity to see Goldman traders dealing with millions in equities and debt
2) Presentation of the Investment Banking as well as the Markets Division (equities and fixed income)
3) Meet the recruiters from Frankfurt and London

Welcome Back - German Society Drinks
We met for our Drinks Evening ("Stammtisch") the Pitchers & Piano (upstairs) and offered a kind of Compensation for the lack of Oktoberfest in this country and a great chance to get to know fellow members of the society!
