Thank You!

We would like to thank the German embassy, our sponsors, our members, and last but certainly not least our inspiring guests for a great LSE German Symposium 2010! We hope that you enjoyed the five days as much as we did. The political panel discussion, Peer Steinbrück's talk and many other exciting events will stay in our memory and set the standards high for next year. In the next weeks we will also post the best pictures and reports on this awesome week.

Best Regards

Your committee

Hi all!

We are in our last steps to this year's German Symposium taking place from the 1st - 5th of February. The program we have put together for you is once more as exciting as it gets, including a political panel discussion with front-row German politicians and speeches by business leaders, entrepeneurs, intellectuals etc. To make this week your week, please see our current program and check out if the events are ticketed to avoid disappointment. We will confirm all ticket requests later this week. Most importantly, we also have another Oktoberfest lined up which translates into more free beer and German sausages - who would say no to that?

We can't wait to see you next week!

Best Regards,

You committee

And here it is: Welcome to our re-launched website and our new blog, from where we want to spread the good news to our fellow students and the world.

It was a great first term with our infamous Oktoberfest, amazing public lectures and the thirsty get-together with Cambridge and Oxford.

Starting with an LSE-party on January 13, Lent term will be no less exciting: for our annual German symposium we have lined up top-tier speakers from German politics, business and media. Most importantly, we are even planning a second Oktoberfest…

We are now looking forward to our well-deserved winter break and wish everyone Merry Christmas and a happy new year (Guten Rutsch!).

Stay tuned!
